We want our customers to feel confident that the aquatic life they purchase will arrive safe and sound. Aquatic Collection offers a 1 week guarantee to ensure our customers a worry free transaction, and peace of mind. We guarantee that your specimens will stay alive for an entire week(7 days) from the time they were received, or we will replace it for free on your next order with a comparable specimen or store credit if a comparable specimen is not available. Note: there are some specimens that do not come with our 1 week guarantee. These specimens are labeled as "limited guarantee" items. Limited guarantee specimens come with a basic live arrival guarantee instead. Please read below for more information.
Any approved claims will receive a replacement on their next order, or store credit if a replacement is not available. Store credit will be given in the form of a gift certificate or coupon that will expire 90 days from the issue date and can only be used on our website.
- Conditions of Guarantee
- Our guarantees do come with some responsibilities on your part. Because shipping live animals is very sensitive, successful shipping is dependent on transit time and weather conditions. Failure to comply with any of the following conditions will void any guarantees offered by us.
- If you are experiencing extreme weather conditions (below 45 degrees or above 85 degrees), we will require your order to be shipped to and picked up at your local UPS Customer Center (staffed location) to be eligible for either of our guarantees.
- If choosing UPS Hold at Location we will require that your order is picked up before 12:00pm of the delivery day.
- Your package must be delivered on the first attempt by the shipping carrier.
- 1 Week Guarantee Example
- We will guarantee your aquatic life to stay alive for an entire week (7 days) from the time your product was received.

- Our 1 week guarantee is not available on specimens that are labeled, "limited guarantee". Species that are labeled "limited guarantee" are typically problematic shippers and/or are difficult to keep alive in captivity.
However, we offer a basic live arrival guarantee on limited guarantee specimens. Should the livestock arrive dead, contact us via email within 6 hours of the delivery time. Please include on the email your invoice number, and a picture of the dead specimen. We will review and finalize your claim within 48 hours.
